Create & edit photo albums - Computer (2025)

Change the photo that's shown on the front of your album.

1. On your computer, open photos.google.com.
2. Open the album, then the photo you want to use.
3. At the top right, click More Use as album cover.

2. Open the album.
3. Click the title, then type a new title.
4. Click Done .

Add locations

You can add locations and maps to albums you create. If you share the album, these will be included.

1. On your computer, open photos.google.com.
2. Open the album.
3. At the top right, click More Edit album.
4. Click Location .
5. Decide if you want:
   • Location: The name of one location.
   • Map: A map showing where you traveled.
   • All suggested locations: Locations and maps suggested by Google Photos.
6. Click Done .
7. To move a location within the album, click More Edit album drag it to the positionit belongs click Done .

Remove locations

1. On your computer, open photos.google.com.
2. Open the album.
3. At the top right, click More Edit album.
4. On items you want to remove, click Remove .
5. Click Done .

Add text

1. On your computer, open photos.google.com.
2. Open the album.
3. At the top right, click More Edit album.
4. Click Text .
5. Add text.
6. At top left, click Done .
7. To move a text box, click More Edit album drag the box to another place click Done .

Change or delete text

1. On your computer, open photos.google.com.
2. Open the album.
3. At the top right, click More Edit album.
   • Edit text: Click the text, then change it.
   • Delete text: Click Remove .
4. Click Done

1. On your computer, open photos.google.com.
2. Open the album.
3. At the top right, click More Delete album. Photos and videos in the album will still be in your Google Photos library unless you delete them from the main “Photos” section.
